Superstar Janet Jackson has decided that she needed to cancel the Australian leg of her Number Ones Tour to focus on the Conrad Murray trial with her family. Dr. Murray is being tried for involuntary manslaughter for her brother Michael when he administered a fatal dose of the anaesthetic Propofol, which he denies.
She was set to play three shows in Melbourne starting the 24th of October, but will make it up in one huge show on November 3rd, so this is more of a postponement than anything else. She stated to the Associated Press that, “When I planned these shows, the schedule in California was completely different. After talking with my family last night, I decided we must be together right now… This saddens me in so many ways.”
