One MusicFest Returns

One MusicFest is returning to Atlanta and bringing their style of eclectic bands to the downtown scene at Piedmont Park. This year will be particularly interesting due to its continuing slant into the inclusion of a more hip hop lineup as compared to previous years.

While there were additions to the lineup this year of Earth Wind and Fire and Jill Scott, for the most part, this will primarily be a hip hop show and the audiences OMF had previously entertained have pretty much taken a backseat. It’s not a negative thing per say, but an audience shift for sure. The merge to serve a younger crowd has served them well over the last few years, and it could very well replicate the success this year.

With their primary lineup headliners including Cardi B, Gunna, Victoria Monet, and the aforementioned Jill Scott and Earth Wind and Fire, the majority of the other acts include Method Man, Redman, Youngbloodz, Fat Joe, Travis Porter, Eastside Boyz, and other hip hop and similarly aligned acts.

This year, the event will take place at Piedmont Park which has always established itself for a nice outside park which brings its own parking and transportation challenges. However, if anyone can work through the inherent challenges of a park in Atlanta, the professionals at OMF should be able to handle it and especially since they used to manage the festivities at Lakewood Amphitheater.

With pricing for 2 day events starting at $246 for 2 day general admission and going to $1,561.49 to Platinum packages. Single day tickets will also be available, but for now those are the pricing models which is still an affordable option for the volume of acts coming. Get tickets here.
